POSITION SUMMARY: 


The position is responsible for driving sales performance, market share, and brand representation/discover ability for our key online retailers. This role is accountable for knowing specific retailers’ strategies, operations, and shoppers deeply in order to create and execute effective strategies and   educate the internal organization. This role owns the relationship with specific online retailers and is responsible for the creation and execution of an annual joint business plan, negotiating all retailer/trade-related terms/contracts, data access/KPI-tracking, sharing and translating category insights into actionable plans, and addressing all retailer specific requests/requirements. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Own & develop strong relationship with assigned retailers. 
  2. Own all direct contact with retailer partners. 
  3. Address all retailer specific requests/requirements. 
  4. Negotiate all trade-related terms and contracts. 
  5. Conduct regular business reviews. 
  6. Educate relevant cross-functional members of Nestle USA (NUSA) organization on key aspects of assigned retailer’s business and needs. 
  7. Create strong business plan for assigned retailers. 
  8. Understand assigned retailers’ strategies/road maps, organization, operations, shoppers, capabilities and best practices. 
  9. Understand key retailer requirements for strategic partnerships, socialize with internal organization and develop plan to attain. 
  10. Identify relevant KPIs, secure necessary data to measure and track accordingly. 
  11. Create and execute annual joint business plans (includes partnering with operations/supply chain/finance as necessary to enable key plan elements). 
  12. Identify and execute relevant test and learn plans to improve business performance, internal learning’s and capabilities. 
  13. Drive category and NUSA sales growth, markets share & brand representation online. 
  14. Translate category road maps and CAPs into actionable plans for assigned retailers. 
  15. Develop and execute strategies and plans to meet assigned sales and market share goals. 
  16. Monitor and improve brand distribution, representation and discover ability at assigned retailers. 
  17. Collaborate with brand/shopper marketing on key programs. 
  18. Manage trade budget. 
  19. Ensure trade spending is kept within budget. 
  20. Develop strong understanding of various retailer programs’ ROI. 
  21. Allocate trade budget to specific programs that drive the business. 
  22. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.

Aligning corporate and customer objectives to find mutual benefits utilizing road maps and CAP. Manages assigned budgets. 



    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: 
    • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus. 
    EXPERIENCE: 
    Minimum 2 years previous experience in E commerce Account Management ; and/or vendor management experience at a leading retailer responsible for driving online sales for the retailer either in a buying, merchandising or marketing capacity:
    • Experience in building relationships, retailer negotiations, and creating and executing joint business plans with retailers. 
    • Experience in communicating and translating retailer requests & insights to internal stakeholders and developing actions plans. 
    • Experience in building annual plans, forecasts, analyzing retail programs and managing budgets. 
    • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry (CPG) is preferred.
