Description of Job	Requirements: We develop and manufacture modern locomotives that are in use all over the world - as a development engineer you ensure that our vehicles meet all requirements. You are project responsible development engineer (m / w / d) for the driver's cab of locomotives. You design a wide variety of components, such as the driver's desk, rear wall cabinets, doors, seats, front and side windows, wiring, interior trim and constructively assemble these components in the driver's cab. The requirements are clarified with internal (eg shell, circuit technology) and external (eg supplier) interface partners and then create the specifications including all design documents. They always optimize the components in terms of technology, quality and costs, thereby contributing to a reduction in production costs. In your task, you make technical decisions and assign colleagues professionally - new employees work for you Qualifications: You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Alternatively, you can have a completed technical vocational training with additional qualification as a technician and several years of professional experience. You have several years of professional experience in the design of complex assemblies / components. You have knowledge of different joining techniques (eg welding, riveting, gluing, screwing etc.) We look forward to receiving your application if you have knowledge of 3D design tools, ideally in Creo.
