Description of Job


Risk Governance
  • Assist the Head of ALM Risk & FTP Control in setting up appropriate framework of the ongoing monitoring of Int’l branches’ ALM activities
  • Support the Head of ALM Risk & FTP Control and the ALM Risk representative of Int’l branches in defining and reviewing risk appetite metrics & limits for Int’l locations
ALM Risk & Funding Oversight
  • Provide an independent oversight to the Bank’s adherence to the Liquidity Risk framework
  • Measure, monitor & report liquidity risk metrics (Regulatory, Internal as determined by ALCO)
  • Monitor Intranet Inter group lending limits
  • Manage an effective breaches escalation workflow
  • Generate both internal & regulatory stress testing reports (impact) for both Liquidity Risk and IRRBB
  • Oversight on the ALM risk related regulatory reports submitted by both the group and individual entities.
Risk Management Framework (Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures)
  • Design & review Int’l branches’ ALM policies (Liquidity, IRRBB, CFP, Stress Test, FTP...Etc.), procedures, methodologies & system of Int’l branches
  • Review the Internal ALM risk reports generated by Int’l branches & provide the required assistance & support required to generate and ensure compliance with each respected regulatory party
  • Review the funding strategy for Int’l branches
  • Direct engagement in the enhancement process for the current ALM systems to improve business operations & processes
  • Provide the required support to implement new ALM modules
  • Collaborate with the ALM Risk team to ensure the achievement of the ALM risk projects within the timelines
Relationship Management
  • Partnering effectively with all relevant stakeholders (such as Group Risk, Group Treasury and ALM desk, etc.) with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner            
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Management, Banking or Finance, preferably with certification in risk management.
 
Minimum Experience
  • 8-10 years of business experience preferably in Market & Liquidity Risk management and/or MLR Audit in a reputed bank
  • Strong understanding of Liquidity and Interest rate risk management practices, Balance Sheet Management, Basel guidelines and Treasury products
  • Good knowledge and grasp of financial markets, products and accounting at a higher level and awareness of the country regulatory framework
