Job Objective:
Network Administrator is responsible to install/configure LAN/WLAN/WAN environment and maintain security of whole bank’s infrastructure across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and support LANs, WLANs, WANs, MANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.Ensure secure network connectivity throughout a company's network.
- Troubleshoot core network connectivity, pin point the problem area and rectify the issue.Configuring and installing security infrastructure devices.
- Planning, engineering, and monitoring the security arrangements for the protection of the network systems.
- Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of the systemManage firewalls, IPS/IDS, virtual private networks, web application firewalls.
- Maintain network high-availability at core level.
- Defining and maintaining security policies related to infrastructure.Vendor coordination for core network troubleshooting.
- Maintain core network inventory and annual principal support.
- Maintain internal and external SLAs.Configure, maintain and support scalable routed & switched networks over Cisco Nexus 7k/5k, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet and F5 technologies.
- Configure, maintain Virtual Private Network.Coordinates system development, installation and implementation and troubleshoot user support requests.
Job Requirements:
- Master in Computer Science OR Bachelors in Engineering from a reputed HEC-recognized University/institution.
- Four years of hands on experience over LAN/WAN environment with good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, NAT, DNS and DHCP Server.Hands on working knowledge of routing and Switching(Cisco/Juniper/PaloAlto/F5), structured cabling, communication technologies and medium (Fiber Optics, Radio links, SDH, DSL, leased circuits, ISDN/POTs etc), Network monitoring and reporting tools.
- Experience with networks with over 1000 online users.Experience with a variety of network typologies.
- Network Certification (MCSE/CCNA/CCNP/Juniper/F5) preferred Ability to articulate effectively in both oral and written form.High quality customer service skills.
- Bachelors in Information Technology or in Computer Science with emphasis on database systems from an HEC recognized / overseas university.
